Sunday thru Tuesday on the road

This has been a week of lots of traveling. After church on Sunday we realized that we had a slow leak in one of our tires. Monday morning we tried to get it fixed, but it couldn't be so we had to get a new tire. They also found that we needed new shocks so we didn't get away from Albuquerque until about noon. At least we were able to find a place open on Labor day.
We decided to travel by way of Lubbock, Texas instead of by way of El Paso. We noticed another slow leak in one of the new tires we got before leaving Salt Lake. Fortunately it was only the stem. We got it replaced, which also required breaking a lug on the wheel and replacing it, also. Tuesday we continued on to San Antonio, Texas, got a motel room in Lytle, Texas, south of San Antonio, so that we would be closer to Laredo when we left Wednesday morning. We just barely made the 6pm session at the San Antonio Temple on Tuesday evening because of all the traffic. It is a very similar temple to the Monticello Temple and both of them are similar to the Monterrey Mexico Temple. They do not have a chapel to meet in as you wait for a session to start. When you change clothes you go right into the first instruction room for the first part of the session then move into the second instruction room and then into the celestial room. The Albuquerque temple has a chapel and two instruction rooms that alternate between sessions before entering the celestial room.
